Captain A S M Shamsuzzaman (11N) on his final voyage

With a heavy heart it is to inform that Captain A S M Shamsuzzaman has breathed his last today (27 Aug, Saturday 2022) around 12 noon at GreenLife Hospital, Green Road Dhaka.

ইন্নালিল্লাহি ওয়া ইন্না ইলাইহি রাজিউন / Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un (We belong to Allah and to Him shall we return)
May Allah SWT grant him Jannah and give his family the strength to overcome the great loss. He was going through his cancer treatment in BD & India.

He will be fondly remembered for his lively and friendly appearances and very well written book, নুনকি একটি তারার নাম – নাবিকের সমুদ্রযাত্রা.

He was from Rajshahi Cadet College (RCC, 4/171). His son Cadet A S M Sabik Zaman is an Engineering Cadet of 54th Batch (passed-out in 2020).
