Capt. Gulam Azam (20N) is no more.
With heavy heart informing that Capt. Gulam Azam (20N, A. no 974) has passed away on 8th May 2020 due to heart attack at his residence in Dhaka.
Innalillahi wa Inna Ilahi Rajiun.
The remaining of the deceased was buried at his native village Norottompur, Begumgonj, Chaumuhani, Noakhali. As per post mortem report, he breathed his last breath on 8th May while staying alone in the apartment and the dead body was recovered on the 12th May night only.
Information received from his sister Dr. Rabeya Khanam:
He was suffering from chronic lung infection due to excessive smoking and had been passing days with depression. Heart & diabetes warned. He was not a corona patient. But he was sick for last few days while he was alone in the flat. He was not getting any medical assistance. His sister arranged an ambulance to take him in Chaumohoni (residence & hospital) but he refused to go there due to unknown reason as she said. His sister requested forgiveness of him from friends.
His son studying in class seven. Let all of us pray for the departed soul for peace and may Allah SWT forgive his sins with the blessing of the holy month Ramadan and grant him Jannatul Ferdous. Aameen.
As informed, he changed his name later to Asad Chowdhury and was serving in a private shipping company in Chittagong before he retired 2 years back.
