With a heavy heart this is to inform you of this shocking incident that Omar Farooq from 13 batch of IMA (International Maritime Academy, Bangladesh) passed away on 15 September 2024 from a tragic bike accident in Cumilla.

ইন্নালিল্লাহি ওয়া ইন্না ইলাইহি রাজিউন / Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un (We belong to Allah and to Him shall we return).

Our heartfelt condolences and thoughts are with his family during this difficult time. We join in mourning his loss.
