The BAMA Mariners Cruise 2026 brought members of the Bangladeshi Australian maritime community and their families together for a wonderful afternoon of friendship, fun and celebration on beautiful Sydney Harbour.
Organised by the Bangladeshi Australian Mariners Association Inc. (BAMA), the cruise was held on Sunday, 1 November 2026, providing a fantastic opportunity for fellow mariners and their families to reconnect, relax and enjoy time together.
With the entire boat reserved exclusively for the BAMA community, the afternoon was filled with great food, music, laughter, friendship and family bonding. The enthusiastic participation of members and their families created a warm and vibrant atmosphere throughout the cruise.
The event received an excellent response from the community, reflecting the strong connection and camaraderie among Bangladeshi mariners and their families in Australia.
BAMA General Secretary Kazi Sarwar expressed his appreciation to everyone who attended, supported and contributed to making the event a success.
“A big thank you to everyone who joined us and made the cruise so special. Your presence, enthusiasm and participation made all the effort worthwhile.”
The success of the cruise was truly a team effort. BAMA acknowledged everyone who contributed their time and support to organising the gathering and helping create such an enjoyable experience for the community.
