It is with deep sorrow that we share the news of the passing of Chief Engineer Taher Rahman, younger brother of Captain Q. B. M. Rahman.
He passed away today at 2:30 PM (Bangladesh Time) in Toronto, Canada.
Late Chief Engineer Taher Rahman was a former Chief Engineer of Bangladesh Shipping Corporation (BSC) and a respected member of the Bangladeshi marine fraternity.
“Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Raji’un”
(Surely we belong to Allah, and to Him we shall return.)
The entire community of Bangladeshi mariners—both at home and abroad—express their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
We pray for the eternal peace of his departed soul and extend our deepest sympathy to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
