BMAAA Announces New Executive Committee for 2026–2027 Term

The Bangladesh Marine Academy Alumni Association (BMAAA) has officially announced its newly elected Executive Committee for the 2026–2027 term. The announcement was made through a press release issued on Monday (27 April), outlining the new leadership team entrusted with guiding the association forward.

According to the statement, Md. Sakhawat Hossain has been elected as President, while Md. Mahbubur Rahman will serve as General Secretary. The committee also includes M.A. Fasihur Rahman and Md. Golam Sarwar as Vice Presidents, Faisal Al Asaduzzaman as Treasurer, and Md. Golam Zilani as Assistant General Secretary.

In addition, ten members from various batches have been appointed as Executive Members. They are expected to contribute their experience and expertise to further strengthen the association’s activities and outreach.

Strengthening a Global Maritime Network

BMAAA highlighted that alumni of Bangladesh Marine Academy, established in 1962, continue to play significant roles in the maritime sector both at home and abroad. Many are serving in senior positions across offshore and onshore industries, contributing to global shipping, marine operations, and industrial development.
The newly elected committee expressed gratitude to all voters and alumni members for their trust and support. They reaffirmed their commitment to making the association more dynamic, enhancing connectivity among members, and building a strong global alumni platform.

Key priorities for the new term include expanding membership, strengthening mutual cooperation, and upholding the rich heritage and values of Bangladesh Marine Academy.
BMAAA has long served as a vital platform for fostering connections among marine professionals and contributing to social and professional development within the maritime community.
The association extended its heartfelt congratulations to the newly elected committee and expressed optimism for a successful and impactful tenure ahead.
