Salaam to all,
BMCS (Bangladeshi Marine Community, Singapore) organized Badminton Tournament from 12 April ~ 3 may 2015.
Grand Final completed on 03 May 2015.
Participated by 14 Single and 17 Double Teams, game had been going on for a month (group/league/super 8/knockout and Finals).
Here are some inside story – couldn’t resist to share with Global Mariners.
1. We missed Subir Roy (27c), a dynamic badminton player could not continue at Semi Final due to leg injury. Rest of the players showered (@ WhatsApp badminton group) messages of feeling sorry and praying quick recovery for Subir.
2. Also we missed Harun (21) due to leg injury since Quarter Final.
3. Zahir Bhai (12) sponsored the trophies.
4. Mrs Rabiul (26/Rumi Bhabi) sponsored Adidas Tees for all Quarter Finalist.
5. I had support from Baten (18), Zahir Bhai (12), Zulfiqur Bhai (14) Rabiul (26), Jamal (28) Kamal (33), Shaheen (37) and tremendous support from Ataul (26) for completing the Tournament.
6. Touched by all the players’ inspiration, dedication and they always kept the game spirit above all.
7. This little tournament strengthened our bonding.
