SMC healthy life-style campaign: Badminton

Our heartfelt thanks to you all. We have completed one more successful health awareness event of ” Badminton Men’s’ double competition 2012 “. It was a delightful evening with our SMC members though we were expecting more to join with us to cheer up the show. Here find the details of the tournament in a nut shell.

Total 22 participants joined the tournament which is really remarkable. The sportsmanship between them became a milestone of harmony. Punctuality was appreciable. Though it was very tough to have all the games to finish within this short time frame. We will positively think better to make it more comfortable to the players in future with all of your support.
Out of 22 players we have chosen 16 participant i.e 8 nos double team for the quarter final and divided them in group “X” & “Y”. From each group top two team participated in semi final and finally the best two in the final.
The two teams competed in the final is “Shakil (29 ) & Ershad (29C)” Vs ” Harun (21) & Ataul (26)”
Champion declared on the Final is ” Shakil(29) & Ershad(29 C) who win 2 sets of 15/13 & 15/13 respectively.
So, the runner up declared is ” Harun(21) & Ataul(26).
“Champions” and “Runner-Up” awarded with the ” Gold plated Cups”
All of our participant teams are also awarded with trophy for their participation and wonderful game they presented.
In appreciation to our Organizer Zahir sir (12) and “Baten sir (18) have been awarded with a crest for their strenuous effort and continuous support to us.
Above all, we have very little to express of our success. We would like to share our joyous moment with now and also in future opportunity. We will endeavor more such health awareness event in future with all of your full support and co-operation. Look forward with more ideas from your end.
Finally in line with our slogan ” Together we can make it possible” lets be united always for our community welfare.
