Dear All Bangladeshi Mariners Worldwide
Assalamu Alaikum and greetings from Australia,
It is my proud privilege to invite you all to the 5th Bangladeshi Australian Mariners Reunion to be held in Canberra from 25 – 28 April 2019. Since our first reunion in 2004, the event is getting bigger and bigger. During the 4th Reunion in 2016 we had a good number of Mariners attending from overseas. This time we are preparing for the biggest reunion yet, as we are expecting significant response from overseas. We are looking forward to the attendance of Bangladeshi Mariners across the globe from Bangladesh, Singapore, Malaysia, UK, North America, and other countries. Locally we have already received huge response.
Australia is down under the world map and a beautiful country to travel. It has been a global tourist destination for many years and those who haven’t visited this wonderful country before, you will be overwhelmed by the scenic and natural beauty of this continent country. Needless to say, one of Australia’s most remarkable natural gifts, the Great Barrier Reef is exceptionally beautiful.
We are planning a grand fun filled program for all 3 days. We have booked out a full resort, which will be totally occupied by us for the entire duration of the reunion. There are enough rooms to accommodate more than hundred families. We are arranging all meals for the whole period including an outdoor BBQ picnic. Though we will have many activities and programs, the biggest attraction will be Adda and catching up with fellow Mariners after many years. I am sure this will be the main attraction for most of us.
Children are welcome as they always have a great time socializing and participating in various activities among themselves. Closer to the date, we will update you with the costing as and when we will finalize it.
