With heavy heart we wish to share that Mr. Abdul Huq (2E-USA) sir is no more. He has breathed his last at about 6 am on the 18th June , Michigan local time.
Inna Lillahi wa inna Ilahi rajeun.
He was suffering from infection in his lungs and was in life-support for last two weeks.
May Allah, in His infinite Grace and Kindness let his soul rest in heavenly peace and Grant him a place in Jannatul Firdous in His Final Judgement. Ameen
Our deepest sympathies for the members of his bereaved family.
He will be well remembered for his kindness, soft speaking and most importantly, not only him, his entire family was well known to mariners from earlier generations. He was a Merchant Marine Chief Engineer, Principal Officer of MMD (retired from this government service in June 2002), President of IMarEST Bangladesh Branch, a Rotarian, an author of a marine engineering book, a remarkable professional and a very loving mentor to new generation mariners.
The remaining of deceased will be brought to Bangladesh and inhumed in Dhaka.
