Bangladesh Merchant Marine Officers’ Association (BMMOA) announce that first ever BMMOA bulletin has been published during Bangladesh Union Week, 2019 which has been Facilitated by ITF. Our main focus was to attract young seafarers who are the sufferer for last few years. We have tried to focus all the points raised by the seafarers and presented its effective solutions. We are committed to publish the bulletin at least once in a year. This bulletin is not a traditional magazine consist of poem, story, adventure article or others. This is an innovative outcome from our youth. We call it “Check list to establish you rights”.
Our bulletin shines with:
- Eight page pull out guide will show you how to contact with ITF inspectors and which situation.
- Gives advice on being hired and how to avoid falling victim to scam recruiters
- A n innovative ‘’Job Centre’’ idea which may pave the way to a solution of all mischief.
- Dreadful stories of the seafarers got scapegoat in Nigeria, Togo, Philippines.
- How to identify a good / fake manning agent
